Huawei Pura X Max specs, steep price hike tipped

According to a new tip online, the  Huawei Pura X Max will be at least 30% pricier than its predecessor. Yet, it is allegedly coming with huge upgrades. 

The Huawei Pura X Max will launch on April 20. Compared to the original Pura X, the upcoming phone will have a bigger 7.6″ display (vs. 6.3″ in Pura X) and some upgrades in other sections.

Sadly, according to a new leak, it will face a huge price increase with a starting price of over CN¥10,000 ($1,464). To recall, the Pura X only debuted with a base price of CN¥7,499 ($1,098).

On a positive note, the phone will offer some huge improvements. The phone is rumored to come with the Kirin 9030 and Kirin 9030 Pro (for the Collector’s Edition) chips (vs. Kirin 9020 in Pura X), a 6000mAh+ battery (vs. 4720mAh), a periscope unit, and the newer HarmonyOS 6.1 system. 

The Huawei Pura X Max is now available for pre-order in Midnight Black, Zero White, Interstellar Blue, Olive Gold, and Vibrant Orange. Its configuration variants include 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB Collector’s Edition, and 16GB/1TB Collector’s Edition.
