Huawei Pura X2 timeline launch tipped

A new leak specifies when the Huawei Pura X2 will arrive in the second quarter of the year.

According to an earlier report, the Huawei model is already in the works. However, some reports say the phone will arrive later than expected. To recall, the OG Pura X arrived in March 2025, while the X2 is alleged to be coming in the second quarter.

Now, Chinese tipster Fixed Focus Digital claims the foldable is set for an April launch, which is already “confirmed.” The same leaker earlier stated that the phone would be released after the Huawei Pura 90 series, which is expected in the first to second quarter of the year.

According to earlier reports, the device would house a Kirin 9030 chip, an upgrade over the current Kirin 9020 SoC in the Pura X. It is reportedly keeping its successor’s 6.3″ 16:10 widescreen, but will be “downgraded” in most of its other sections. On a positive note, the phone is reportedly cheaper than its predecessor. To recall, the first Pura has a 6.3″ main display and a 3.5″ external screen. When unfolded, it functions as a regular vertical flip phone, but its orientation changes when closed. In general, the Huawei Pura X measures 143.2mm x 91.7mm when unfolded and 91.7mm x 74.3mm when folded.
