A reliable tipster has shared that the Motorola G Max will also debut in India soon. However, it will differ from the variant in Brazil.
The device was first introduced in Brazil in June. The phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chip, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, a 6.8″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 200MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, a 32MP selfie camera, a 5200mAh battery, 33W charging, and IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings + MIL-STD-810H. It debuted with a price tag of BRL 2,519.10, which is around $494.
Now, leaker Abhishek Yadav claims that India will also welcome the handheld in mid-August. Even more interesting, Motorola will allegedly change some of the phone’s details, using a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chip, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera. The device is said to offer two years of OS upgrades and three years of security patch updates.
Ultimately, India’s Motorola G Max is purportedly coming with a lower price tag of around ₹30,000 ($316), suggesting the brand aims to reposition it to make it more affordable in the said market.
