iQOO 15 debuts with SD 8 Elite Gen 5, RGB LED design, 7000mAh battery, bypass charging, more

The iQOO 15 is finally here, and it features many impressive details, from a huge battery with bypass charging support to a powerful chip and an LED-armed camera island.

The new phone is the brand’s latest flagship offering. As the company promised in earlier teasers, the device will offer a handful of high-end features. It starts with its design, which, despite having the same design as its predecessor, provides a new twist. As reported in the past, the camera island on its back now has an RGB LED strip surrounding it.

The phone is also powerful, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which is even paired with the company’s self-developed Q3 gaming chip and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM. To ensure that it runs at the optimal level at all times, iQOO also put a 14,000mm² vapor chamber inside it.

The phone also houses a huge 7000mAh battery, which has 100W wired charging. Even more, it also supports 40W wireless, bypass, and reverse charging. 

The iQOO phone comes in Black, White, Lingyun, Light Green, and Blue (Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition) colorways. Its configurations include 12GB/256GB (CN¥4199/$590), 12GB/512GB (CN¥4699,$660), 16GB/256GB (CN¥4499/$630), 16GB/512GB (CN¥4999/$700), and 16GB/1TB (CN¥5499/$770). The Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition comes with a 16GB/512GB configuration, which is priced at CN¥5,499 ($770).
