Vivo announced that the iQOO 15 Ultra would be officially unveiled before the Spring Festival.
The news follows several leaks about the device, which is expected to be a powerful handheld focused on gaming. In addition to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, the phone will also feature game-focused details, including gaming shoulder buttons and a cooling fan. According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the cooling fan system is “likely the largest and most efficient in the industry.”
In addition to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, the handheld is believed to be coming with a flagship independent graphics chip, a 6.85″ 2K 144Hz LTPO OLED with Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide tech and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a triple 50MP camera setup with a periscope unit with 3x optical zoom, a 7000mAh+ battery, 100W wired charging, and wireless charging support. The iQOO 15 Ultra is also believed to prioritize productivity, which could mean it will be equipped with features like generative AI and more.
