Vivo has started accepting pre-orders for the iQOO 15 Ultra ahead of its expected arrival in China.
The brand shared that it would be officially unveiled in early February. The company also teased that it is designed for ultimate gamers. According to earlier leaks, the phone’s fan system will beat rivals in size, with a leaker noting that it is “incredibly powerful” and the “most efficient in the industry.”
In addition to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, the handheld is believed to be coming with a flagship independent graphics chip, a 6.85″ 2K 144Hz LTPO OLED with Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide tech and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a triple 50MP camera setup with a Sony IMX882 periscope unit with 3x optical zoom, gaming shoulder buttons, a 7000mAh+ battery, and wireless charging support. The iQOO 15 Ultra is also believed to prioritize productivity, which could mean it will be equipped with features like generative AI and more.
Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the phone will have a super-fast 200W charging speed. This is double the earlier rumored 100W charging support for the device. This is interesting since the last time the company introduced a phone with the same charging speed was in 2022, when it debuted the iQOO 11 Pro. Yet, it is best to take the claim with a pinch of salt. After all, we are just a few weeks away from the unveiling of the iQOO 15 Ultra.
