According to a new leak, the Indian market won’t get a new Neo model this year, including the iQOO Neo 11.
The Neo 11 is already available in China, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, an up to 16GB/1TB configuration, a 6.82″ 3168×1440px 144Hz 8T LTPO AMOLED, a 50MP Sony LYT700V main camera, a 7500mAh battery with 100W charging, and IP68 and IP69 ratings.
According to a new report, however, the phone will not be offered in India as the brand assesses its mid-range and flagship position in the market. According to the report, due to a hike in memory component prices and shortages, iQOO now plans “to focus on clearer differentiation and value propositions.” Hence, removing the Neo series, which blurs the line between the flagship and mid-range segments, is the first step for iQOO.
The report also mentioned that the sub-flagship iQOO 15R model helps to pronounce the brand’s flagship aspirations. As such, while the Neo’s future in India now seems murky, we might expect the company to continuously offer its R series.
Currently, the most current Neo model available in India is the iQOO Neo 10, which was launched in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB, priced at ₹31,999, ₹33,999, ₹35,999, and ₹40,999, respectively.
