The first details of the iQOO Neo 12 have started surfacing online, including its chip, display, and cooling system.
The iQOO Neo 11 was launched in China in October last year. It is now believed that the brand is already working on the next Neo model, which should offer upgrades.
According to well-known leaker Smart Pikachu, the device is now under development. As per the tipster, the device could feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 2K display.
Interestingly, the handheld is said to be equipped with an active cooling system. While the specifics were not shared, this could mean it is equipped with a built-in cooling fan, just like the iQOO 15 Ultra, which debuted with the Ice Dome active cooling fan system.
This could mean that Vivo is planning to further boost the gaming performance of the iQOO Neo series by introducing such a feature. To recall, the iQOO Neo 11 already impresses as a gaming phone, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with an Adreno 830 GPU, the company’s self-developed Q2 gaming chip, and an 8K vapor chamber for heat management.
