The Xiaomi Mijia Desktop Fan is now available pre-order, as the tech giant finally listed the device as available for pre-order on it’s website. The price to performance seems decent, but this is just a fan we’re talking about so there’s not much performance to speak of. However, it still seems like a worth purchase, let’s have a look.

The Mijia Desktop Fan is the most recent addition to Xiaomi’s IoT sub-brand, Mijia, which specializes on smart home devices, like smart surveillance cameras, thermostats, sensors and more. The Mijia Desktop Fan is covered in a matte white finish, with an orange accent on the knob. The fan supports both a desktop mode and a handheld mode, and the overall weight of the device is around 670 grams, while the width of the base is around 88 millimeters.
The Mijia Desktop Fan features a 4000mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims can last up to 18 hours, though at the first power mode T. The fan can be charged via USB Type-C, so you can charge it from anything ranging from a basic phone charger to a powerbank. The head of the fan can move up to 90 degrees, which allows it to have higher range, and it will also have four power modes for the wind speed. The grill is detachable for easy cleaning and replacements.
The price of the Mijia Desktop Fan available for pre-order at the moment, and is currently priced at 109 Yuan, though it will officially launch on the 21st of May for 129 Yuan.
