Motorola Edge 70 Pro debuts globally with 50MP 3.5x periscope upgrade

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro has finally arrived in the global market with some upgrades, including a more powerful camera system.

The new Edge 70 series phone earlier debuted in India. Now, it is also official in Europe. However, there are some differences between the two versions, and the one in the European market offers a better set of specifications.

This starts with the 50MP 81mm periscope telephoto unit with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. As such, unlike the dual rear camera setup in its Indian version, the new variant offers a trio of lenses on its back.

Another addition is support for 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging on the phone.

The Edge phone is available in Pantone Chicory Coffee, Pantone Zinfandel, Pantone Lily White, and Pantone Titan.

In the UK and other parts of Europe, it comes in a 12GB/512GB configuration. In the UK, it costs £749.99, while in some parts of Europe it costs € 799 (€899 in France). The phone is also expected to arrive in other countries soon. It will be offered with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
