Nothing CEO Carl Pei talked about the brand’s upcoming devices this year. While the executive confirmed that no flagship model is coming this year, he noted that the Nothing Phone (4a) will be completely improved.
According to the latest clip released by the London-based brand, it will not release a new flagship model this year. This means the Phone (3) will remain as the main and latest offering in its portfolio.
On a positive note, Pei shared that A series will welcome its next member, the Phone (4a). Though the lineup is known for its budget models, the official suggested that it would be comparable to a flagship phone. According to him, fans can expect major upgrades. It is also said to boast a new design and superior materials.
Sadly, a price hike is also expected to affect future Nothing smartphones. To recall, Pei hinted that the Nothing Phone (4a) would now use UFS 3.1 (as opposed to UFS 2.2 in its predecessors), which would affect its manufacturing costs.
