The Nubia Z80 Ultra is finally official in China, where it has a base price of CN¥4999 ($701).
The new model looks similar to its predecessor, but the brand introduced a handful of improvements. These include the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a bigger 7200mAh battery, and a better camera system (1/1.3″ 35mm Omnivision 990 main camera + 64MP 1/2″ periscope with 3x optical zoom + 1/1.55″ ultrawide). As usual, it still boasts a true full-screen experience. It has a 6.85″ 1.5K 144Hz BOE X10 AMOLED, which is free from a punch-hole cutout. Its selfie camera is hidden under the screen and offers a 16MP resolution. Moreover, it also features a 3D Ice Steel VC heat management system, ensuring the device will run at its best even during long usage.
The phone is available in Light White, Phantom Black, and Starry Sky Collector’s Edition. Nonetheless, users can also purchase the optional photography kit, which offers a vintage-design case alongside a T-mount and other items.
