OnePlus 15R arriving in India with price hike

According to a new tip, the OnePlus 15R may come with a higher price tag than its predecessor.

The OnePlus model is launching this Wednesday. While the brand has already revealed some details of the phone, it remains mum about its pricing. Thankfully, a reputable leaker stepped in to give fans ideas of what to expect.

According to Paras Guglani, there will be two configurations for the device: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. Its base price is believed to start between ₹47,000 and ₹49,000, while its 512GB variant is rumored to hit up to ₹52,000. The tipster noted that bank offers of ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 could be available, but this would still mean the phone would be priced higher than the OnePlus 13R. As a reminder, the 13R arrived in India in January at a price of ₹42,999.

Despite this, it is not entirely surprising since several brands have already hinted at the imminent price increase of their future devices. A few weeks ago, Francis Wong, Realme’s Global Head of Product Marketing, explained that this is due to the increasing cost of storage and memory components, particularly NAND Flash, DRAM, and SSD.
