A new leak shares some of the most interesting details of the upcoming OnePlus 15T model, including its specs and possible debut timeline.
The Chinese brand is set to launch the OnePlus 15 next month. Like its predecessor, the phone is expected to have a mini variant with a T moniker, the OnePlus 15T (15S in India).
Now, ahead of its arrival, a tip from China reveals some of the smartphone’s specifications.
According to the leak, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip that its predecessor has. Moreover, from the optical fingerprint sensor in the current T model, OnePlus is reportedly opting for an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner this time. The compact model is also allegedly adopting the same Plus Key multi-function button of its predecessor.
The tip also corroborates earlier reports that the handheld has a 6.3″ display and a battery starting at 7000mAh.
Ultimately, the leak says that the OnePlus 15T could arrive between March and April. This should match the debut of its predecessor, which we welcomed last April.
According to earlier reports, the phone will have a “more attractive price” than the 13T, suggesting cheaper pricing. This is interesting since the compact phone is expected to offer some upgrades, including a better chip, battery, and other components.
