The OnePlus 16 is reportedly getting a significant improvement in its camera system, thanks to the addition of a 200MP sensor.
The OnePlus model is expected to arrive in October 2026. Although we are still months away from that timeline, the brand seems to be already preparing the device.
In a fresh tip shared by leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone is allegedly following the trend of including a 200MP sensor in its camera configuration. The account also noted that the OnePlus phone will have similar primary and telephoto camera details as the upcoming Oppo Find N6. This is not a surprise since this happened in the OnePlus 15 and Oppo Find N5, which both debuted with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main camera and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto.
According to earlier reports, the Find N6 is coming with a 50MP/50MP/200MP/2MP rear camera configuration. In the said system, the 200MP sensor is expected to be used as a telephoto, while one of the 50MP cameras will serve as the primary camera.
