According to a new leak, the OnePlus Ace 7 will launch in India as the OnePlus 16R. Some details of the phone have also emerged, including its alleged pricing.
The Ace series model is anticipated to be unveiled in China soon. Amid the wait for its official announcement, we’ve started hearing more about the phone.
A new online tip revealed the speculated key specs of the phone, including its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. The phone is also said to come with a 6.78″ flat 1.5K 185Hz LTPS OLED with a 16MP selfie camera unit. Its back will sport a 200MP main camera, and its system is also said to likely include a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
Its battery will be around 9000mAh, paired with a charging speed of around 100W, with an earlier claim saying it could reach up to 120W.
The tip also echoed an earlier report that the phone has a built-in fan and even water resistance.
While it will be called OnePlus Ace 7 in China, the phone will be marketed as the OnePlus 16R in India.
Sadly, the tip suggests the Indian market will have to brace for a significant price increase for the OnePlus 16R. From the OnePlus 15R’s ₹47,999 (now ₹59,999 due to price increases) base price, the next R-series phone is said to come with a price tag between ₹70,000 and ₹75,000.
