OnePlus Turbo 6, 6V designs, colors revealed ahead of January 8 launch

OnePlus showcased the design of the upcoming OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V models. The brand also confirmed that the devices would be unveiled on January 8.

The two OnePlus models share a similar design, featuring a square-shaped camera island with rounded corners. However, as expected, they have different sets of camera details, explaining the difference in their camera lens arrangements. In front, nonetheless, both feature a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera and thin display bezels.

In addition to their designs, the brand provided all colorways and configurations of the phones. According to the company, the vanilla Turbo 6 model will be available in four configurations: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB. The colors will be referred to as Lone Black, Chasing Light Silver, and Wilderness Green.

The Turbo 6V, meanwhile, will be available in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. Its color options, on the other hand, are called Lone Black, Nova White, and Fearless Blue.

According to reports, the OnePlus Turbo 6 will feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, a flat 6.78″ 1.5K 165Hz display with an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor, a 9000mAh battery, 80W charging, 27W reverse wired charging, ColorOS 16, and IP68/69 ratings.

The V variant is also reportedly coming with the same battery, wired charging speed, protection ratings, and OS versions. However, it will feature an older Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and a bigger 6.8″ flat display with a slower 144Hz refresh rate.
