Oppo Find N3 Flip receives TÜV Rheinland certification to validate 1M-fold strength

Oppo Find N3 Flip has received the Reliable Folding Certification from TÜV Rheinland. According to the international testing organization, the model can indeed withstand more than 1,000,000 folds, allowing it to exceed the average folding capability of other foldables in the market.

Find N3 Flip was released in 2023 by Oppo, but it remains one of the dominant foldable models in the market. Unsurprisingly, it continuously impresses fans, especially with the latest certification it received from TÜV Rheinland.

According to the test specifically made for foldable screen smartphones, the model can be opened and closed more than a million times with its hinge and display remaining in good condition afterward.

The organization observed the model in physical performance, holding comfort, scene durability, and 10,000-fold durability tests. In the article shared by TÜV Rheinland, it revealed that it performed 40 tests (bending area display color accuracy retention, impact resistance, touch response, bend lifespan, folding process under different temperatures, creases, etc.), which the Oppo foldable all aced. Ultimately, Find N3 Flip managed to keep going even after meeting the test thresholds set by the organization, allowing it to reach an impressive 1 million folding record. The figure is more than the average 200,000 folding capability of most foldables in the industry, with Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 only having 200,000 fold capacity.

The news should help Oppo cement its name in the foldable industry and boost the name of its future foldables. However, according to recent rumors, the company would be backing out of its foldable business, which Oppo denied. Yet, in a recent report, it was shared that the firm canceled its Find N5 Flip project.
