After a long wait, the Oppo Find N6 has finally launched as the latest book-style foldable.
The new Oppo model is a powerful flagship phone with a Snapdragon Elite 8 Gen 5 chip, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Despite being a foldable, it also has a huge 6000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Its highlight, nonetheless, lies in its new display, which offers a huge upgrade over the foldable screens we’ve seen before. Unlike the older generations of foldables, including the Oppo Find N5, it now features a barely noticeable foldable crease on its main display. This is all possible through the new Titanium Flexion hinge and 3D liquid printing technology, with the latter filling in microscopic imperfections in the hinge structure. With this, the phone now boasts an almost unnoticeable 0.05mm hinge height, down from the 0.2 mm industry standard.
Oppo claims that the new technologies in the phone now make the display more durable and able to withstand 1 million fold cycles. Also, it is important to note that it has better protection ratings, such as IP56, IP58, and IP59.
The Oppo Find N6 is available in Blossom Orange and Stellar Titanium, while its Pearl Black will remain exclusive to China. Its configurations include 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB, priced at CN¥9,999 ($1,452), CN¥10,999 ($1,597), and CN¥11,999 ($1,742), respectively.
The phone will be offered more widely in Asia starting on March 20.
