Oppo Find N7 wide-screen model getting a different camera island design

According to a new tip, the Oppo Find N7 wide-display foldable won’t have a circular camera module.

Huawei currently enjoys a monopoly in the wide-foldable market with its Pura X Max and Pura X. Soon, however, the Chinese giant will face some competition, with reports saying several brands are preparing their own versions of foldables with an aspect ratio of around 16:10. One of them is Oppo.

The device is believed to succeed the Oppo Find N6. Yet, unlike the earlier models, it will not use a circular camera island design, a tipster says. Instead, it will allegedly feature a horizontal island, suggesting it could be a rectangular module.

The tip also indicates that the phone will offer a seamless display with an almost unnoticeable crease. The leak also mentions the Oppo Find X10 Ultra, which reportedly features a bezel-free display and a camera island design similar to its predecessor.

Back to the Find N7, speculation suggests there could be two Oppo foldables coming to market. This echoes earlier leaks, which provided two different sets of specifications for two rumored Oppo foldables.

To start, we first heard about the Oppo Reno X, rumored to feature a 6.39-inch display with a 21xx × 13xx-pixel resolution. Earlier rumors also said that it would offer a MediaTek Dimensity 9 series chip, a 7000mAh+ battery, and a triple-camera system with a 50MP main camera and a periscope telephoto lens.

We also heard about another Oppo foldable, which will reportedly feature the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip. Samsung Display (SDC) and BOE will reportedly supply the phone’s displays, which include a 7.6″ main foldable screen and a 5.5″ cover screen. It will reportedly launch in the first quarter of 2027.
