Digital Chat Station is back with some new leaks that highlight the specs of the upcoming Oppo K12 model. According to the tipster, the device will get a decent set of hardware.
The release date of K12 remains unclear, with DCS not including any hint of when the Oppo smartphone will arrive in the Chinese market. Nonetheless, in a recent post on Weibo, the leaker shared some promising claims that could thrill Oppo fans while waiting for K12. As reiterated by the account, the model will employ a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which has a CPU that is nearly 15% better and a GPU performance that is 50% faster than that of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
DCS also added that the device will have a 6.7-inch display, which is rumored to be AMOLED. It is unknown if this is the exact measurement of the hardware, but it is somewhere near the 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display of the K11. In other areas, nonetheless, it seems K12 will be adopting some of the details of its predecessor. As mentioned by DCS, K12 could have 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, a 16MP front camera, and a 50MP and 8MP rear camera. Despite this claim, Oppo will likely make some improvements in these parts, although details about them remain unknown.
