According to a tipster, the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro will adopt some similar details of its predecessor.
The Chinese brand is already preparing the next K Turbo series. Following the success of its K13 Turbo series, it appears the brand plans to bring its impressive built-in waterproof cooling fan system to the next lineup.
According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the same feature will also be featured in the Pro model of the next series. DCS noted previously that the device would have a “theoretically dustproof” design. As such, we expect the phone to receive enhanced IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, which protect against both water and dust. Interestingly, the account also mentioned that the brand plans to bring the capability to its future lower-end models.
DCS also revealed the possible chip that will be used in the phone, claiming it will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s (vs. the earlier rumored Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC), which is a huge change from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 in the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro.
The tipster emphasized that the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro will be closely similar to its predecessor in certain aspects. To this end, DCS shared that the upcoming phone will feature a 6.78″ flat 1.5K LTPS OLED, a 50MP main camera, and a huge battery. According to DCS in an earlier post, from the 7000mAh battery in the current series, Oppo is said to be bumping it up to 8000mAh.
