Several key details of the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro have leaked. According to the tip, the phone will also have a built-in waterproof fan.
The Oppo K15 Turbo series is reportedly already in the works. It will replace the K13 Turbo series, which debuted in July this year. Months ahead of the anticipated launch timeframe of the next Turbo series, some details about one of the series models have emerged online.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, this device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, allowing fans to speculate that it could be the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro. To compare, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro debuted with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the K13 Turbo had the MediaTek Dimensity 8450.
According to the tipster, the phone will also feature a 6.78″ flat 1.5K LTPS display with rounded corners. The battery department is also allegedly getting an upgrade. From the 7000mAh battery in the current series, Oppo is said to be bumping it up to 8000mAh.
The main highlight of the series is reportedly the built-in waterproof fan, which will be more compact this time. DCS noted that the fan system will also be improved. To recall, the K13 Turbo series only has IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings. However, DCS noted that the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro would have a “theoretically dustproof” design. As such, we expect the phone to receive enhanced IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, which protect against both water and dust.
