Oppo Reno 12, Reno 12 Pro global variants both use Dimensity 7300; Geekbench result surfaces

The Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro will soon debut globally. According to leaks, both models will use the Dimensity 7300 chip. Now, the brand is preparing for the lineup’s debut, with the Pro model recently visiting the Geekbench platform to test its SoC.

The lineup’s specs sheet recently surfaced online, revealing almost all the details we wanted to know about the global variants of the models. Some of the details shared in the document include the two’s AI features, their 6.73” 120Hz AMOLED screen, 12GB RAM, 5000mAh battery, and IP65 rating.

Interestingly, the spec sheet also shows that both models will employ the same SoC. To recall, the Chinese variants of the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro use the Dimensity 8250 Star Speed ​​Edition and Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed ​​Edition chips, respectively. With this, seeing the global variants of the devices using the same chips is quite interesting.

In preparation for the phones’ global launch, the Pro model has been tested on Geekbench. The device was spotted bearing the CPH2629 model number and the Dimensity 7300 SoC on the platform. As shared in the past, the chip has four performance cores and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.50GHz and 2.0GHz, respectively. According to the test, the Pro with the said chip registered 1,043 and 2,944 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
