Oppo Reno 15’s global variant to differ from Chinese counterpart

According to a new leak, the Chinese and global variants of the Oppo Reno 15 will differ in several ways.

The Oppo Reno 15 series is launching in China on November 17. Soon, the lineup will also be introduced in the global market, and one of those models includes the standard Reno 15.

According to leaks, the device is coming with the following specs in China:

  • MediaTek Dimensity 8450

However, the most recent leaks say that the global variant of the phone will have different details from its Chinese sibling. To start, the phone is allegedly powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. It is also coming with a bigger display (6.59″ 1.5K 120Hz OLED with a fingerprint scanner) and a bigger battery (6500mAh). However, the camera is reportedly being reduced to a 50MP main camera unit and an 8MP ultrawide. The other areas of the phone, nonetheless, are expected to be similar to those of its Chinese counterpart, such as its 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, 50MP selfie camera, and 80W wired charging.
