The details of the global variant of the Oppo Reno 16 Pro have leaked ahead of its launch.
The series is now available for pre-order in China. It will break cover in May, with an impossible global launch timeline reportedly scheduled around July to August.
According to Yogesg Brar, the phone will have the same camera island design as its predecessor, a combination of glass and aluminum build, and an Action button.
It is also expected to offer a 6.32″ OLED, a triple camera system with a 200MP unit, and a “marginal” battery increase.
Meanwhile, as earlier reported, the Reno 16 Pro in China will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip and will be available in several configurations, including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. In front, it will feature a 6.78″ flat 1.5K LTPO display with thin bezels, complemented by a metal frame. At the back, the device is said to feature a 200MP main camera paired with a periscope lens unit. Inside, the phone will house a battery with a capacity of around 7000mAh.
