POCO confirms the launch of upcoming POCO F-series device

POCO India made an official announcement yesterday regarding the appointment of a new General Manager in the country after the previous CEO Anuj Sharma left POCO and rejoined Xiaomi India. Soon after the official announcement, the brand posted something about the upcoming POCO F-series smartphone, and interestingly, the legendary POCO F1 was mentioned in the public post. Let’s take a look at what the brand has to say.

New POCO F-series device launching soon?

The POCO India’s official Twitter handle has shared a public announcement regarding the upcoming POCO F-series device. POCO will soon launch its next F-series smartphone, as seen in the tweet above. The device is almost certainly the POCO F4. The poster emphasises the brand’s philosophy of Everything You Need. This could imply that the POCO F4 will focus on providing an all-around experience instead of its GT lineup, which primarily focused on gaming.

For the time being, the exact launch date has not been confirmed, so we may have to wait a little longer to learn more. The post also ensures that this will not be a GT lineup smartphone, but rather one that focuses on the overall experience. The brand also shed the light on the legendary POCO F1 device and probably, it’s time to see the true successor of POCO F1 being launched officially.

POCO F4 will be a relatively low-cost smartphone with a lot of features and benefits in comparison to its price. The phone will have a 6.67-inch OLED 120-Hz display, a Qualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 870 5G processor, 6 to 12GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4520mAh battery. POCO F4 will be released with the most recent stable Android version, Android 12, and MIUI 13 as Xiaomi’s official Android skin.
