POCO X3 Pro is enough for handling 90FPS in PUBG?

POCO X3 Pro was a performance-oriented smartphone launched by the company. Poco claimed it to be the real successor of the Poco F1 smartphone. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset. The Player Unknowns BattleGround (PUBG), on the other hand, is a graphic intensive game and it is played by many users worldwide. As the POCO X3 Pro is available on a budget, many gamers are looking forward to buying the device. But here, a doubt comes whether the device will be able to handle the game in 90FPS or not.

POCO X3 Pro is capable of 90FPS PUBG or not?

The Poco X3 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset, it’s the only smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 860 chipset. Talking about the chipset, it is built on TSMC’s 7nm finfet technology having an octa-core CPU clocked up to 2.94Ghz. It has 1X ARM Cortex A76 clocked at 2.94Ghz, 3X ARM Cortex A76 clocked at 2.42Ghz and 4X ARM Cortex A55 clocked at 1.8Ghz. It has Adreno 640 GPU for handling graphics-intensive tasks and games.

To give you an idea about its performance, it’s nothing but the rebranded Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+. The chipset scores above the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ and below the Dimensity 1200. The Snapdragon 860 is very much closer to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. Talking about the 90FPS support in PUBG, it officially doesn’t support the 90FPS option. But there are some workarounds using which one can get 90FPS support unofficially. As the screen provided is 120Hz, they can enjoy 90FPS gaming, but there is no official support for that to date.

But the question is whether it will be able to play PUBG at 90FPS. It’s a powerful chipset, to be sure, but it’s fairly stable when it comes to 60FPS gaming. The device manages to offer an almost consistent 59-60 FPS while playing in Smooth and 60FPS. Even with higher graphics, the smartphone performs admirably in the game. So, even if you try playing the game at 90FPS, you will undoubtedly enjoy it; the device will be able to play the game at 90FPS without major frame drops or lags. So, in short, you could try playing the game at 90FPS and the device would work flawlessly. However, Qualcomm does not officially support it.
