Price Hike: iQOO 15 to sell between ₹65-₹70K in India

The iQOO 15 will be pricier than its predecessor, and a brand executive explained the possible reason behind this.

The iQOO 15 is now available in China and is set to launch in India on November 27. Ahead of the date, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya shared a major revelation to awaiting fans: a price hike. According to the executive, the phone will be offered between ₹65,000 and ₹70,000 in the market. To recall, the iQOO 13 was launched with a ₹54,999 base price.

Marya shared that it was not originally part of the plan, but the price increase for the memory and components needed for the model prompted the company to do so. The official also noted that the brand decided to confirm the matter ahead of the launch, so as not to “shock” fans.

The news, however, is not a surprise, as companies like Realme and Xiaomi have also expressed similar concerns about the impending hike in smartphone prices in the future. Moreover, some recent releases in India, such as the OnePlus 15 and Redmi 15C, have already experienced it.

Despite this, the company wants to reassure users that the iQOO 15 will bring a handful of upgrades and can justify the hike. In China, the handheld features the following:

  • Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
  • Q3 gaming chip
  • LPDDR5X Ultra RAM
