According to a Huawei executive, the Huawei Pura X Max has now surpassed all the sales of the brand’s earlier foldables.
China warmly welcomed the Pura X when it debuted in March last year. This prompted the Chinese giant to follow it with the Pura X Max. As expected, it also became an immediate success like its predecessor.
Nonetheless, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei and Chairman of the Terminal (Consumer) Business Group, shared that the phone achieved greater success. While no official numbers were provided, an earlier leak revealed that the phone beat all foldable phones even in its first week of sales, with one tip stating its initial sales were 180% higher than those of its predecessor.

Yu Chengdong underscored that the phone’s main advantage is its unfolded √2:1 screen ratio, inspired by the A4 sheet of paper. With this setup, any content appears natural and properly sized, whether the phone is folded or unfolded.
