QPST (Qualcomm Product Support Tool) is used to restore the software for your Qualcomm device.
If you want to restore to stock rom of your Qualcomm chipset Android phone or if you want to recover a bricked device, you can use the QPST tool. We do this with the QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader) app that came with QPST.
QFIL allows you to restore the device’s software via EDL (Emergency download). You must have an authorized MI account to use QFIL on Xiaomi devices.

- QPST Configuration: Allows you to review connected devices, COM ports, EFS.
- Software Download: Allows you to flash stock firmware on Qualcomm based Android devices. It also allows you to back-up and restore NV contents (QCN, xQCN) of device.
QPST Installation Instructions
- Download the QPST package on your PC
- Extract the contents of the zip file on PC
- Double-click on ‘QPST.2.7.496.1.exe’ to start the installation.
- When QPST InstallShield wizard shows up, click on ‘Next’.

Accept to the License Agreement on the next screen.
- Select the location where you want to install the tool and click on ‘Next’.
- Click “Complete” when prompted choose the setup type, and then click “Next”.
- Click “Install” to begin installation of QPST package.
- Installation complete. Click “Finish” to exit the installation.
QUD (Qualcomm USB Driver) Installation Instructions
- Download the QUD package on your PC
- Extract the contents of the zip file on PC
- Double-click on ‘QUD.WIN.1.1 Installer-10037.exe’ to start the installation.
- Select “WWAN-DHCP is not used to get IPAddress” and click on ‘Next’.
- When QUD installation wizard shows up, click on ‘Next’.
- Accept to the License Agreement on the next screen.
- Click install to begin the installation.
- Click to “Install” and continue the installation.
- Installation completed. Click “Finish” to close the InstallShield Wizard.
That’s it. You can now flash stock ROM on your smartphone or recover your hard-bricked device.
