Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Revealed!

After the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 7 Gen 1, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 has now surfaced, which will be the successor of the Snapdragon 600 chipset series. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 spec sheet leaked by Evan Blass (@evleaks) reveals all technical details of the chipset. The most striking details are the 4nm process and the ultra-fast 5G modem.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Specs

Model number of the new chipset is SM6450, and it is supposed to be the successor of the Snapdragon 690 or Snapdragon 695. Equipped with 2.2 GHz Kryo cores, the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 supports up to 12 GB LPDDR5 memory and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. On the ISP side, the results are heartwarming, it can record 4K HDR videos and supports multiple rear camera setups without shutter lag.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 supports Qualcomm’s HD audio codec aptX. It also supports Qualcomm’s Aqstic audio codec and is equipped with an Aqstic Smart Speaker amplifier. The new chipset will make Hi-Fi audio lovers happy, although it is affordable.
