Realme 16 Pro series Snapdragon SoC, periscope, battery teased

Realme provided some hints at the details of the upcoming Realme 16 Pro series.

The lineup’s teaser has already begun in India, with reports indicating it will arrive on January 6. In preparation for its arrival, the company launched its landing page on its official website in India. The page confirms some of the details, including its chip. According to Realme, the Pro+ model will feature a Snapdragon that can overshadow the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the Realme 15 Pro.

The company also showcased a series of images in 1x, 3.5x, and 10x zoomed shots, indicating that the series will feature a periscope unit, which is not present in the Realme 15 lineup.

Ultimately, the Pro+ model is said to offer a battery larger than the 6500mAh cell in its competitor. According to earlier reports, the series is expected to feature a 7000mAh typical battery rating.

The lineup will feature an 8GB/128GB base configuration, with the Pro+ model featuring a telephoto camera unit. According to an earlier leak, the vanilla model is available in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB options. Meanwhile, the Pro+ model reportedly has 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB configurations.

The Realme 16 Pro+ will be available in three colors: Master Gray, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink. On the other hand, the Pro variant will be available in India in three colorways: Pebble Grey, Master Gold, and Orchid Purple. It is also expected to feature a 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz OLED display with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a 200MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP selfie camera, and a 6830mAh rated battery capacity.
