A reliable tipster shared the possible launch timeline of the Realme C85 5G, Redmi 15C, and Redmi Note 15 series in India.
According to Abhishek Yadav, the Realme C85 is set to be unveiled in the country this month. He noted that it is similar to the Realme 15x, but comes with a downgraded camera system. To recall, the phone debuted in Vietnam days ago, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, a 6.8” HD+ (1570*720px) 144Hz LCD, a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a 7000mAh battery with 45W charging, and an IP69 rating.
The tipster also claims that the Redmi 15C could either arrive by the end of the month or in December. However, he did not specify whether it would be the 4G or the 5G variant. For comparison, the 4G version features a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chip, whereas the 5G model utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
Ultimately, Xiaomi is reportedly set to announce the Redmi Note 15 series in January. This corroborates earlier leaks about the same launch timeline for the lineup. Like the Chinese versions, the Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro, and Note 15 Pro+ are believed to be armed with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, Dimensity 7400-Ultra, and Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chips, respectively. However, as in the past, there will likely be some changes in the other sections of the global/Indian variants of the phones, possibly in their battery, charging, and camera specifications. This occurred in the Note 14 series, which even saw the introduction of additional models in the European market.
