Realme GT 8, GT 8 Pro reportedly launching together in October

Realme is allegedly making a change in the launch strategy of its Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro models. According to a new claim, both models are coming simultaneously in October.

To recall, the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7 Pro were launched simultaneously. While the latter debuted in November 2024, the former just arrived in April. Now, according to well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, this will no longer be the case for their successors. DCS claimed that the two models would arrive in October.

According to Realme Vice President and President of Global Product Line Wang Wei, the entire series will have some significant design changes. DCS, on the other hand, noted that the Pro model will be competitive in terms of its chip, display, periscope, and battery.

As per earlier reports, the Realme GT 8 Pro has a 2K display with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, 7000mAh+ battery, and 100W charging support. Unfortunately, DCS also shared in the past that the Realme GT 8 Pro could be priced higher. According to the leaker, estimates of the increase remain unknown, but it is “likely.” To recall, the Realme GT 7 Pro in China debuted with a CN¥3599 price tag, or around $505.
