Realme GT 8 Pro reportedly coming earlier globally to outshine OnePlus 15

According to a new leak, Realme will launch the GT 8 Pro earlier internationally, and the OnePlus 15 is allegedly the reason behind the move.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is now being teased in China, where it is expected to launch between November 18 and November 20. However, the brand is reportedly making a huge change to ensure its product’s success. According to insiders, Realme will now hold the handheld’s global debut earlier, between November 10 and 12.

This will allow the Realme model to arrive earlier than the OnePlus 15, which is set to be unveiled on the international market on November 13. It will help Realme secure the title of the brand to launch the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 smartphone in India, the largest smartphone market outside China.

Aside from the chip, Realme is marketing the Pro model as a powerful camera device through its new partnership with Ricoh. It is expected to arrive with a trio of camera lenses (50MP LYT-808 1/1.4″ main camera with OIS + 50MP JN5 ultrawide + 200MP 1/1.56″ HP5 periscope telephoto with telemacro). According to earlier reports, the phone also features a flat 2K 144Hz 10bit LTPO BOE OLED, a 7000mAh battery, an R1 gaming graphics chip, Android 16-based Realme UI 6, and 120W charging. It is also expected to arrive with an IP69 rating, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and better haptics.
