More Realme GT 8 Pro’s Ricoh GR features, camera samples revealed

As the arrival of the Realme GT 8 series nears, the company has discussed more details of the Pro variant’s powerful Ricoh GR camera system.

The company recently confirmed its partnership with Japan’s Ricoh brand. According to the Chinese smartphone maker, the new collaboration will bring incredible upgrades to the camera section of the Realme GT 8 Pro, from hardware to software.

Some of the phone’s main highlights include its viewfinder mode and GR 1:1 photography experience. It also offers five classic tones, including the customizable Ricoh GR mode. Despite only offering a standard 50MP 1/1.56″ main camera, it features a five-layer ultra-low-reflection coating and a 7P lens. Moreover, its system includes a powerful 200MP periscope lens.

To underscore the power of the phone, Realme released another batch of sample photos of the phone:

It is also expected to arrive with an IP69 rating, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, better haptics, and a trio of camera lenses (50MP LYT-808 1/1.4″ main camera with OIS + 50MP JN5 ultrawide + 200MP 1/1.56″ HP5 periscope telephoto with telemacro).
