Xiaomi Updates Releases and Changelogs

Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 and POCO M2 got Android 12 update internally.

Xiaomi continues to release updates for its devices. According to the information we have, Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 and POCO M2 have received the Android 12 update internally.

Earlier we thought that Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 and POCO M2 would not receive Android 12 update. Because Redmi Note series devices were receiving 1 major Android update. Already Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 and POCO M2 came out of the box with Android 10 and recently received Android 11 updates. While they thought the Android 11 update was the last major Android update for these devices, they recently received the Android 12 update internally. Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 and POCO M2 users will get Android 12 update.

 

Redmi 9 with Global ROM received Android 12 update with build number indicated in internal test. Redmi 9 with codename Lancelot internally received Android 12 update with build number 22.1.26. Redmi Note 9 with Global ROM received Android 12 update with build number specified in internal test. Redmi Note 9 with codename Merlin internally received Android 12 update with build number 22.1.26. POCO M2 with India ROM got Android 12 update with build number stated in internal test. POCO M2 with codename Shiva received Android 12 update internally with build number 22.1.26. Also, Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 and POCO M2 will get MIUI 13 update. The new MIUI 13 interface brings new sidebar which was absent in previous MIUI 12.5 Enhanced and also brings new wallpapers. Finally, if we talk about the features of the devices, the Redmi 9 and POCO M2 come with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080×2340. Redmi 9 has 5020 mAH battery while POCO M2 has 5000 mAH battery. It charges fast from 1 to 100 with 18W fast charging support on both devices. Redmi 9 and POCO M2 have 13MP(Main)+8MP(Ultra Wide Angle)+5MP(Macro)+2MP(Depth Sense) quad cameras and they can take average photos with these lenses. Both devices are powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 chipset and perform well in their respective segments.

The Redmi Note 9, on the other hand, comes with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080×2340. The device with a 5020 mAH battery charges quickly with 18W fast charging support. Redmi Note 9 can take beautiful pictures with its 48MP(Main)+8MP(Ultra Wide Angle)+2MP(Macro)+2MP(Depth Sense) quad camera.
