The Redmi K100 Pro will arrive with a unique color shade called Glowing Firefly. Its glow-in-the-dark feature, nonetheless, isn’t its only highlight.
Redmi K100 Pro series is going official on August 11. After showcasing the Pro Max variant in its Cabernet Red colorway, the company is back to unveil the special variant of the Pro model.
Called Glowing Firefly, the variant normally appears translucent green. However, once it absorbs light, it will glow in the dark. We have seen this effect in earlier models before, but Redmi has given its upcoming creation a new twist.
According to the brand, users can scribble on the back panel, and temporary glowing patterns will appear. The Chinese brand says this “light painting canvas” feature is made possible by the special luminescent material between the glass back panel and the green ink layer.
In addition to its appearance, the Redmi K100 Pro is also expected to impress in other departments. As previously reported, it will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chip, a 6.59″ flat 185Hz OLED with 4500nits peak brightness and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a 200MP main camera, an 8000mAh+ battery, and 50W wireless charging.
