Redmi K100 series teased… Here’s when it’s launching

Xiaomi has started teasing an upcoming lineup in China, believed to be the Redmi K100 series.

The Chinese giant says that it will unveil a Redmi flagship product at ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31. While it didn’t name the creation, it could be the rumored Redmi K100 series, which was featured in recent leaks. If true, it means the lineup could debut on the said date.

According to reports, the series will include the vanilla Redmi K100, Redmi K100 Pro, and Redmi K100 Pro Max. However, the standard variant could be presented at another event, just like in the past.

According to reports, the series will also see a price hike, but its increase will be lower than that of its rivals. Moreover, we heard that the base model will offer a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a flat 185Hz display with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto macro, an 8000mAh+ battery, 80W wireless charging, a full-water protection (likely IP68 and IP69 ratings), dual speakers, and a glass back cover.

Meanwhile, the Pro Max is allegedly coming with the same chip, which will be used for the entire lineup. The tip also mentioned a 7-inch 2K screen with an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, and IP68 and IP69 ratings. As per earlier leaks, the device could also feature a new 200MP lens, either in the main camera or the telephoto.
