Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi K50 series of smartphones along with some of their AIoT products in China on March 17th, 2022. The Redmi K50 series has already been teased to feature multiple record-breaking features like Android world’s most powerful haptic engine or vibration motor on any smartphone, highly precision-tuned display and much more.
Redmi K50 with one more “Industry-first” feature
The company has now confirmed another industry-first feature on the Redmi K50 lineup. The entire lineup will feature Industry’s first Bluetooth V5.3 technology along with the support for LC3 audio coding. The new Bluetooth 5.3 technology ensures a seamless connecting experience with minimal delay in transfer. It includes several feature enhancements with the potential to improve reliability, energy efficiency, and user experience in many types of Bluetooth enabled products.
Coming down to the expected list of specifications, the Redmi K50 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, K50 Pro by MediaTek Dimensity 8100, K50 Pro+ by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and the high-end Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
The Redmi K50 will feature a 48MP Sony IMX582 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a macro camera without OIS. The Redmi K50 Pro will also feature the IMX582, but we’re not sure what other cameras it will be used except for a Samsung 8MP ultra-wide, and all we know about the Redmi K50 Pro+ is that it will have a 108MP Samsung sensor without OIS.
