Redmi India team already announced a launch date for Redmi K50i. Alongside Redmi K50i, Redmi Buds 3 Lite will be available in India as well.
Let’s start with the display! Redmi K50i features an IPS LCD display with a 144 Hz adaptive high refresh rate. In the center punch hole cutout, there is a 16MP selfie camera and Gorilla Glass 5 for shielding. The phone includes a high impedance headphone port (32 ohm) in addition to dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Also note that Redmi K50i is the first Redmi Phone supporting Dolby Vision.
Along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera, the main rear camera features a 64MP ISOCELL GW 1 1/1.72″ primary sensor. Main shooter is pretty solid for many cases.
The phone comes with MIUI 13 and Android 12 preinstalled. 5,080 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and PD support up to 27W are included with the Redmi K50i 5G. Redmi K50i offers 576 hours of standby time and play 1080p video for 6 hours.
It comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivities, as well as an IR connector and it supports 12 different 5G bands. Redmi K50i 5G is available with 3 different color options in silver, blue, and black. INR 25,999 is the starting price for the 6/128GB base model. The price of the 8/128GB variant is INR 28,999. The price is reduced to INR 20,999 and INR 23,999 through early bird deals. Open sales begin at midnight on July 23.
Redmi India started a discount for early bid. Upto ₹3000 discount will be applied on ICICI Cards and EMI. 6GB+128GB ₹20,999 – 8GB+256GB ₹23,999
Besides Redmi K50i they also announced Redmi Buds 3 Lite. It’s an affordable true wireless earphones. Redmi Buds 3 Lite comes with 6 mm drivers and it has Bluetooth 5.2 support. It has IP54 certification making it resistant to splash and dust. It will be priced at 1,999 INR ($25).
