Redmi K90 Max built-in fan confirmed ahead of debut this month; K90 Ultra still coming

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi K90 Max model with a built-in fan will be unveiled in China this April. According to the tipster, the series will also welcome the Ultra variant rumored earlier.

The Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max are now official, and the lineup will soon be joined by a Max variant. According to the brand, the phone will feature an 18.1mm cooling fan with 1.3x the airflow of other fan-equipped devices on the market. The phone is also expected to offer a 165Hz display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, a 12GB/256GB base configuration, and a starting price of CN¥3500.

While the announcement of the device led many to believe it was the previously reported Redmi K90 Ultra, a tipster shared that the variant will still be announced. According to the account, with the two additional models, the lineup is arranged as follows: K90, K90 Ultra, K90 Max, and K90 Pro Max.

The Redmi K90 Ultra is said to be armed with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, a 10,000mAh battery, a 6.8-inch 1.5K 165Hz LTPS OLED display with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, and support for both 100W wired and fast wireless charging. According to earlier reports, the phone will feature several highlights, including three speakers with Bose technology and a built-in cooling fan with an IP68 rating.
