Xiaomi confirms Redmi K90 Max SoC, graphics chip ahead of April 21 debut

Xiaomi has finally revealed more details about the Redmi K90 Max, including its launch date next week. 

The upcoming Redmi model will join the series, which already has the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. While the first two models’ major highlight is their Bose audio system, the Max model will boast a built-in 18.1mm cooling fan.

Following the revelation of its design and one of its colorways, the brand has now shared that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. According to Xiaomi, the Redmi phone will also house a D2 graphics chip, complemented by 165fps frame interpolation across all games.

The phone is also expected to offer a 165Hz display, a 12GB/256GB base configuration, IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings, and a starting price of CN¥3500.
