Redmi K90 Pro Max camera samples released

Days before its launch, Redmi showcased the camera power of the upcoming K90 Pro Max in some of its photos.

The K90 series will be unveiled in China this Thursday. As the day approaches, Xiaomi continues to build up the hype involving the lineup. In its latest posts, the brand shared some pictures taken using the Redmi K90 Pro Max’s impressive camera system.

According to the Chinese giant, the Pro Max model employs the same 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 950 main sensor as the vanilla Xiaomi 17 variant. The lens is paired with the Samsung JN5 5x periscope telephoto ( a first among Redmi models) and an OV50M ultrawide unit.

The brand also recently confirmed that the phone houses the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which is complemented by a D2 graphics chip. The phone also uses a 6,700mm² 3D ice-cooling system, ensuring its optimal performance at all times.

The phone also borrowed several details from the Xiaomi 17 series, such as the vanilla model’s main camera and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max’s display. To recall, the said Xiaomi model has a 6.9″ 2K (2608x1200px) 1-120Hz AMOLED with 3500nits peak brightness and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. This is a Super Pixel M10 OLED, which offers an independent pixel array tech and the Qingshan Eye Protection 3.0. The panel also includes several other technologies, such as full brightness DC dimming, 1-nit low-light eye protection, and Circular Polarized Light 2.0, all of which are aimed at protecting users’ eyes during long usage.
