Ahead of the phone’s official unveiling today, Xiaomi showed off the Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition, which sports a design co-created with Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
The Redmi K90 series is debuting this Thursday in China. In addition to the vanilla and Pro Max models, the brand is also expected to introduce the lineup’s Champion Edition this year. Now, the company has released the first official poster of the said variant.
According to the company, it collaborated with the Lamborghini Squadra Corse team to produce the device’s design. While it has the same general look as the standard Pro Max model, it is adorned with Lamborghini elements, including a logo on the lower center section of its back panel. The phone’s camera island, nonetheless, has a new shape, as does the external Bose speaker on its back. As usual, the phone will also feature a special Lamborghini theme.

In terms of specs, the Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition is expected to offer the same specs as the original Pro Max model. The phone houses the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which is complemented by a D2 graphics chip.
The phone also borrowed several details from the Xiaomi 17 series, such as the vanilla model’s main camera and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max’s display. To recall, the said Xiaomi model has a 6.9″ 2K (2608x1200px) 1-120Hz AMOLED with 3500nits peak brightness and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The panel also includes several other technologies, such as full brightness DC dimming, 1-nit low-light eye protection, and Circular Polarized Light 2.0, all of which are aimed at protecting users’ eyes during long usage.
