Redmi K90 series now official… Here are the details

The Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max have finally arrived in the Chinese market.

The series borrows a few details from the Xiaomi 17 lineup, including the display and the 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 950 (Pro Max) main camera with OIS. While the new devices don’t have the rear displays we adore in the Xiaomi 17 Pro series, they stand out in their own ways.

Both models have the same design, but the Redmi K90 Pro Max has an additional external Bose speaker located on its camera island. While the vanilla model doesn’t have the same feature, it has a BOSE tuning for its sound system.

The K90 is the more affordable option, but it impresses in several ways. In addition to its Bose tuning, it offers a Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 2K display, and a 7100mAh battery.

The K90 Pro Max, on the other hand, lives up to expectations as a flagship killer. Despite its reasonable pricing, it comes with special details like a Bose 2.1 channel speaker, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and a bigger 7560mAh battery. It also has a 50MP periscope telephoto unit with a 5x optical zoom, an IP68 rating, and 50W wireless and 22.5W reverse wireless charging support.

The Pro Max model also comes in an interesting denim color option. Even more, Xiaomi also offers it in a Lamborghini Squadra Corse Champion Edition, which costs CN¥5499 ($771).
