A popular Redmi phone having issues after MIUI 13 update: Redmi Note 10 Pro Max camera crashes! Xiaomi releases their new products in regions all over the world, from Asia to Europe. It’s a smartphone brand rising rapidly in recent years with no doubt.
Since Xiaomi sells its products in many areas with different brandings, it might be more difficult to ensure the product quality. Note that “Redmi Note 10 Pro Max” is Indian version of “Redmi Note 10 Pro“. It appears that the camera problem is more severe in the Indian model although the specifications of the two devices are identical.
Redmi India has announced that they are aware of the issue and they will provide the repair for affected smartphones with no additional cost. Redmi India has published an announcement on their Twitter account.
“At Xiaomi India, consumers are at the heart of everything we do. We are aware of the camera issues being faced by some of our users of Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. We would request the affected users to visit any of 2000+ Xiaomi Authorized service centers. Our service teams will provide comprehensive technical support and repairs at no additional cost. We regret any inconvenience caused to our users. We are committed to delivering a user-centric experience that exceed our user’s expectations.”
The affected users facing blurry image on the camera app or an error window pops up saying “Can’t connect to camera.“. The camera is not functional with 3rd party apps as well. While it’s great that Xiaomi offers free repairs, those who have this problem with their Redmi Note 10 Pro and live in a country where Xiaomi is not officially available may find it pretty annoying.
