Finally, Redmi Note 12 series has been introduced in India! The Redmi Note 12 series, which was already introduced in China 2 months ago, will now go on sale in India. Redmi Note series has always been a favorite of users with its affordable price tag and good features.

In China, 4 smartphone models were introduced among the Redmi Note 12 series. In India, we have 3 different phones. These are: Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
Redmi Note 12 series
In this year’s Redmi Note series, only the Redmi Note 12 model uses a Snapdragon processor. While the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ are powered by the MediaTek processor and they have remarkable different features.
Performance
The Redmi Note 12 comes with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ are powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1080. Both processors are mid-range and both have 6nm production. All phones support Wi-Fi 6 and 5G.
Design
All phones use a 6.67″ OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2400 and has pixel density of 395 ppi. Only the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has a glass back cover among three phones.
Battery
Redmi Note 12 series seems to be quite nice with the battery capabilities. The cheapest model in the series comes with a fast charge of 33W. Redmi Note 11 series also had good fast charging capabilities. And this year, Redmi Note 12 series also has good fast charging capabilities. Unfortunately, Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition will not be sold in India.

Camera
The camera with optical image stabilizer was not something we commonly see on earlier Redmi Note models. Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ equips OIS on their main camera. Redmi Note 12 Pro features Sony IMX 766 camera sensor. It’s a camera sensor has been commonly used on some smartphones and this sensor usually gives good results in good lighting conditions. Xiaomi 12 has Sony IMX 766 as the main shooter.
On the other hand, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ features a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HPX camera sensor. You can take a look at the sample photos taken with 200 MP camera on Redmi Note 12 Pro+ from this link. The sensor size of Samsung ISOCELL HPX is 1/1,4″. It is 26% larger than Sony IMX 766.
Redmi Note 12 has 48 MP main camera and 2 MP depth sensor.
