The Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro are now official in China.

The series starts at CN¥1299 ($192), but offers a handful of decent specifications. To start, the vanilla model features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip, a 7″ 2396x1080px 120Hz OLED, and a huge 8000mAh battery. The phone is also equipped with AI capabilities, including an end-to-end anti-fraud feature for identifying scam calls, an AI-generated deepfake video call alert, and bank card anti-theft technology.
The Pro model comes with better specs, thanks to its more capable Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, Xiaomi Surge G1 chip, and a larger 9000mAh battery. There’s also IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings and a 50MP main camera.
The standard version comes in Black, Light Aquamarine, and Meteor Purple. It is available in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB, priced at CN¥1299 ($192), CN¥1399 ($206), and CN¥1599 ($236), respectively.
The Pro, on the other hand, is offered in Sky Blue, Nebula Purple, Black, and White. Its configurations include 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 8GB/512GB, priced at CN¥1599 ($236), CN¥1899 ($280), CN¥2199 ($324), and CN¥2299 ($339), respectively.
